Ben.  Your uninformed, out of context, and utterly misleading remark
demonstrates just the problems that the net faces.  The quote you
so snappily destroy is incomplete, as must be obvious to anyone
who actually READ the original article.  The "articles" in question
refer to a database of ONE ARTICLE PER NEWSGROUP, to be used for
the sole and exclusive purpose of explaining to new net participants
(and confused ones, I suppose, Ben) just what the various newsgroups
are for.  

Nobody is suggesting that anyone keep all this drivel, Ben.

Yes, I misread the original article, mea culpa.  As Emily Letilla would say:

(... here stands for a suitably humiliated tone of voice)

Not quoting more was not a deliberate slight, but a response to the
criticisms floating around the net that some people quote an entire
article just to add one line of commentary, often just "yes, I agree".
