I'm trying to build xview2 on an APOLLO running SR10.2. For several reasons I'd like to use it with APOLLO's R3-server, though we have X11 R4 up and running. When setting PreR4Server to 'YES' (in Xview.cf), 'make World' tries to compile the file './lib/libxvol/misc/xv_icccm.c' which doesn't seem to exist in the whole distribution. When building xview without xv_icccm.c, linking of clients fails because of two undefined symbols (xv_withdraw_window and xv_iconify_window). I guess the two missing symbols are located in the missing file. If this is true, could someone who has the file please be so kind to post or to mail it ? BTW: Has someone a better solution to the 'syscall'-problem (better than the one described in buglist.xv (ID 1034578) as this causes stack overflows in most clients and examples) ?
