sinkwitz@gorgo.ifi.unizh.ch (Rainer Sinkwitz) (08/22/90)
In our system we have resource files for twm than can be either
a) common ( in /usr/lib/X11/twm/system.twmrc)
or
b) private ( in $HOME/.twmrc ) .
The X11 administrator changes the applications menu whenever new
applications are built. I got my own .twmrc in my home directory
and want to get automatic updates in this menu. What would be a good
idea to do this, e.g.:
a) use cpp and include a line "#include <public.menu>"
b) use cat and do a "cat private1 public.menu private2 >! .twmrc"
c) ...
I 'd like to hear your opinions about this and whether you would like
such a thing for you.
