yes, I know that x11perf & xstone are not valid methods to compare X terminals, but we're looking at bids for ~20 terminal in a high-use student lab, and I'd like to have some more data. In particular, I'm looking for performance data on the IBM DEC, HP, TeK and other x terminals. I'd like data on color, mono and gray scale if possible. So, if there's an xstone or x11perf summary, can someone please mail it to me? It will save me having someone run these tests. Similarly, if anyone has run *several* (e.g., 1->10) instances of xstone/x11perf on e.g., an RS/6000-320 and displaying to x terminals, I'd be interested, because it'll give us an idea on how the subnet will scale. thanks Dirk Grunwald -- Univ. of Colorado at Boulder (grunwald@foobar.colorado.edu) (grunwald@boulder.colorado.edu)
