Is there anyway to write a function that will pop up a list of items, let you select one, and return the index to you? I know how to use the athena list widget and popups, but XtPopup returns immediatly and I don't know how to make the function wait or block until the callback for the selection is called. I suppose I could poll some global variable, but there must be a better way.
