We are going to be getting a Gipsi (of France) "Le tX" X Terminal in
for evaluation, and I was wondering if anyone else on the net has any
experience with these beasts. We will be looking at the "Me" model,
which features a 1280x960, 19" screen, 4 grey scales, a 68030 w/ 2MB
RAM, and software based on the Chorus kernel.

Sounds pretty slick...

They are! I had one of the Me's here on demo for a couple of weeks.
Extremely nice. Make sure you get it with the R4 version of the
software which is a lot faster and has the shape extension.

It was robust, reliable, fast. Its network code even coped with the
broken tcp/ip in my old 4.2 BSD!

The drawbacks? Its not cheap.
