[comp.windows.x] Why does X crash SPARC 1???

Since I started running X window on our SPARCstation 1 ( I compiled
X window myself), the machine gets crashed frenquently. I found from
/usr/adm/message that every time the system crashes, it has something
to do with 
        ...panic: Data fault
        ...zs2: silo overflow
        ...zs3: silo overflow
Could experts out in the net tell me what's going on? If it crashes
a few more time, my thesis advisor would probably forbid me running X
window any more.
