I am using XSendEvent to send an application an event which
contains a time-stamp. I may be sending such an event
asynchronously, i.e. my action won't be triggered by any
X event.
What is the best (simplest) method to retrieve the value
of the timestamp from the server (I know it won't be
accurate, but better inaccurate than totally bogus). Note
I'd prefer to avoid having to use tricks like changing
a property on some window to get property notify event...
