[net.news] .signature file handling omitted in Pnews

Has anyone else been bothered by the lack of .signature file
handling in Larry Wall's otherwise excellent Pnews script?

Has anyone written a .signature file handler into Pnews?

Judging from many of the signatures seen on the Net, often
doubled(!?), Pnews is probably better off without such a feature.
