I have some .snf files on a Sun 4 that I want to convert to DEC 3100 .snf files. I don't have the .bdf files, unfortunately. Is there any way to do this? A snftobdf program would be nice, but if the .snf format is simple enough, I guess I could hack something together. Is the .snf format documented anywhere? Thanks, Wayne Christopher

Grab X/getbdf.c from 132.206.1.1, point it at your Sun-4 server and give it the font name, and it will obligingly hand you a .bdf file for that font. Then of course once you have the bdf file you can do whatever strikes your fancy with it. der Mouse old: mcgill-vision!mouse new: mouse@larry.mcrcim.mcgill.edu
