The recent posting about Tektronix responses to usenet postings reminded me of mention I saw recently in DECWORLD, a DEC employee publication, of usenet in an article about UNIX. Usenet is covered in two paragraphs, with a third that explains how DEC's Easynet (engineering net) is gatewayed in via decwrl; the description is accurate and seems favorable, ending: "This is totally unedited traffic generated by a group of do-it-yourself, self-reliant people." The rest of the article has some interesting Unix trivia, including photos of a PDP-7 and Steve Bourne, now in DEC's Unix Program Office. /jr
