HI! Can anyone who has successfully run an X terminal over a slip line (from home, say) send me any and all information on how does one go about doing this... especially, since I know very little about slip lines... e.g. - does the X terminal need special software (e.g. will an NCD19 work) - do I need special software (what?) on the host end (Sun4's in our case) - what else do I need (e.g. modems?) - what's the minimum speed (e.g. 1200 baud) needed to make this work reasonably well? - your experience with this? (e.g. too slow, too painful, etc.) Please reply via email. Thanks.
