We just came across a problem using the f.delete or f.destroy functions of the R4 twm with the Sun OpenWindows 2.0 X server (system in particular was a SPARC 1 running 4.0.3); the server would often crash completely when killing the client. Sun has been notified and has offered this workaround in the meantime: that the value NoGrabServer be added to the .twmrc file. (Note that this is in the default system.twmrc.) The problem almost certainly applies to the derivatives tvtwm and vtwm. It may also affect other window managers which provide the same functionality. -- David B.
