On a DECstation 500 I have installed the DEC server and the MIT clients. So far we been using the DEC fonts. However, we would like to install the MIT fonts. My questions are: 1. Can I install the MIT 100dpi, 75dpi, and misc fonts on a machine that is running the DEC server? 2. What are the commands that I need to use? mkfontdir and bdftopcf do not seem to be the right commands to accomplish the font convertion. 3. Would the DEC 100dpi fonts conflict in any way with the MIT 100dpi? Can they coexist on the same machine? Any help or suggestions will be appreciated. You don't have to compile them, the DECstation servers can read BDF format. The UWS release notes discuss conventions and methods for font paths and directories. -- Ken Lee DEC Western Software Laboratory, Palo Alto, Calif. Internet: klee@wsl.dec.com uucp: uunet!decwrl!klee
