An announcement of patch 1 to the gnuplot 2 interactive plotting program
should arrive shortly on comp.sources.bugs, comp.sources.d, comp.text.tex, and
alt.sources. This patch contains improved X11 support for gnuplot which
replaces the "xgnuplot" wrapper/outboard terminal driver previously announced
here. Improvements:
o Automatic rescale/replot when window resized
o Compiles under X11 R3 as well as R4
o No xgnuplot "hang-till-ctrl-C" bug
The patch or a full gnuplot tar with the patch applied are available from
cs.duke.edu in pub/gnuplot_patch1.tar.Z & gnuplot2.01.tar.Z. See the patch
announcement for other locations and methods of acquiring the patch materials.
