[comp.windows.x] tvtwm patchlevel 3 available

toml@ninja.Solbourne.COM (Tom LaStrange) (10/02/90)

OK, I got motiviated the past couple of days and fixed a few problems and
added a couple of new features. Included in this patch is the much requested
feature that will allow you to not display icon names below the icons. (I'll
bet you thought I was going to say that you can now lower sticky windows)

BTW, while working on this tonight (10/1) I had the TV tuned to Monday
Night Football. During the game, an IBM PS/2 commercial came on and
talked about how easy it was to compose a document using the system.
They had a couple of room sized sheets of paper on the floor and went
about laying out a document by simply carrying things over and dropping
them on the paper. And what did they have these large sheets of paper
attached to the floor with? Pushpins! Is this a veiled IBM
endorsement of OPEN LOOK? :-) Did anyone else see/notice this
commercial?

Anyway, here's the blurb from the patch file. I have sent the patch
to the comp.sources.x dude and I have updated tvtwm.tar.Z on expo.
