Kazuhiko,
I've got your neet little screen hack Xengine off the net and
got it work on my machine, an Encore Multimaxc 630 running BSD 4.3
with DECStation 3100s as Display. The program never runs very far
without crashing with the error:

X Toolkit Error: SetValues on AsciiStringWidget string not supported.

And then closes the window and exits. At least it doesn't dump core!

Okay, now for more info. When it's running, it does about 10
revolutions, prints one '^' to the left of the engine in the window it
opens. Then the error happens.

Can you help me? I'd like to get this thing running here, if only as
a display toy. Thanks for your time and effort!

John
