XMX, an X Protocol Multiplexor It's a pseudo-server that permits n applications to display on m displays. One display provides input (no passing the chalk) and there are no late-joiners. It was written to efficiently broadcast an instructor's X session to each of 65 displays in our "electronic classroom" here at Brown. We've been using it as it evolved for 2 years. I'm currently diverted, but in two weeks I should have time to do the final cleanup and release it. John Bazik jsb@cs.brown.edu
