[comp.windows.x] Developing 3D Control Widget

jhsieh@megatek.UUCP (James Hsieh) (10/09/90)

I'm interested in developing a Widget which would allow me to
control the movements of a 3D object within a window. Movements
being such things as rotation and zooming. Has anyone out there
developed their own widget or know of an existing widget whose
function would fit the above description?

And yes, I realize X is 2D, but I'm thinking ahead to the near-future
when it will be possible to do 3D graphics in a 2D windowing system
(like PEX).

Please reply to me -- I'll summarize to the net and anyone else who
is interested. Thanks much!
