I'm using X11R4's xterm on a Sparc running SunOS 4.0.3. Occasionally when I bring up an xterm, it will behave as if the <cr> (carriage-return) is constantly asserted. This only happens when the xterm has focus. (ie. cursor in the xterm) All xterms that are subsequently brought up will exhibit this behaviour as well. Once something is typed in any of the affected xterms, the behaviour stops on all the xterms. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to stop it? I suspect that some pseudo-tty corruption is taking place.
