[ X list: if you're not using Suns, you can safely skip this message. ] I've seen various stuff from these two lists asking for an X version of Sun's cdplayer demo program. I have something similar. It is a good deal fancier than Sun's cdplayer; the major improvement is that mine allows programming, ie, selecting some set of tracks to be played not necessarily in order. The major failing (IMO) is that there is no documentation but the source code (which btw owes nothing to Sun's cdplayer program). If you still want it, you can get it by anonymous ftp to 132.206.1.1, in X/cdplayer.shar.
