Please forgive me if this is an inappropriate question: I've done quite a bit of PM (OS/2 GUI) programming and now need to come up to speed on writing X applications. I'm two days into this endeavor and have experimented with the with the athena widget. Coming from PM environment, I'm use to a 3-d flavor to objects. Motif has more of this look. Is it possible for me to get a whole of the motif widget set? This is a whole new world for me (X that is) and its hard to tell what's commercial and what is public domain (i.e. can I ftp it from somewhere). General advice for a novice like myself would be greatly appreciated: i.e. books, widget set choice. I've been going through Asente and Swicks "X Window System Toolkit". It's been very useful. Another thing. In the PM SDK there was a Dialog Box editor that was very helpful in prototyping complicated dialogs. Is there anything like this around for X (that uses Motif?). Nothing complicated (like Serpent) just something that'll spit out a code template. Thanks much, Rich (neves@boulder.colorado.edu)
