[comp.windows.x] removing/hiding caret in XawTextWidget

rjh@udev.cdc.com (rj huebsch) (10/17/90)

You'll have to excuse me if this has been asked before since I'm not
able to keep up with this newsgroup.

I'm currently using a TextWidget in an application to display some
read-only information (editType=XtTextRead). There are not pages
of information to be displayed, so it is currently acting like a
multi-line label. However, the caret symbol still exists. Is there
any way to disable the caret (or make it invisible by changing color?)

Please respond via e-mail and I'll summarize if there's interest.
