This is almost self-explanatory. I want to know if XResizeWindow does the same thing as far the ICCCM window manager is concerned, as XReconfigureWMWindow does when used to just resize a window. In other words, should I use XReconfigureWMWindow to resize the top-level window, or can I use XResizeWindow? Thanks in advance. +-----------------+---------------------------+-----------------------------+ | Bill Poitras | Polygen Corporation | {princeton mit-eddie | | (bill) | Waltham, MA USA | bu sunne}!polygen!bill | | | | bill@polygen.com | +-----------------+---------------------------+-----------------------------+

XResizeWindow generates a ConfigureWindow request. XReconfigureWMWindow is similar, but adds some ICCCM stuff. -- Ken Lee DEC Western Software Laboratory, Palo Alto, Calif.
