[comp.windows.x] X11R5's Xim input manager library

Is the protocol between the Xim library and an input manager defined
by the consortium or are Xim libraries vendor specific?

Is the Xim protocol available in draft form? Does it make a difference
if my company is a consortium member or not?

Is the protocol between the Xim library and an input manager defined
by the consortium or are Xim libraries vendor specific?

The short answer is that it is not currently part of our standardization work,
although many would like it to be soon.

Is the Xim protocol available in draft form? Does it make a difference
if my company is a consortium member or not?

The Xim document is only available to Consortium members at the present time.
We are trying as hard as we can to get documents ready for public review.
