I am writing a real-time application in X on the 3100s. I would like to re-scale my mouse. That is, I need the motion of 390 X pixels to be equivalent to 120 cms (~ 47 inches) on the table (pad). So, I need to get about 3 pixels/cm. Default settings are about 30 pixels/cm. If I get desperate, I could build a counter, that would divide the number of pulses generated by the mouse, thus giving me the desired scale. However, I would like to be able to do this in software. I can't seem to find a way to do it with the mouse settings. Is it possible to do it by defining a new pointer device with the appropriate scale? Any help will be greatly appreciated. -- Leo Shulman <shulman@alpha.ces.cwru.edu> Case Western Reserve University Cleveland, OH 44106 (216) 368-4575 -- Leo Shulman <shulman@alpha.ces.cwru.edu> Case Western Reserve University Cleveland, OH 44106
