(alright, stop laughing.) I am looking for some way to duplicate the screen control behavior provided by ANSI.SYS and the like. I have a number of tools that I'm porting from DOS that take advantage of these control sequences to format their display output, and I'd like to get them working under X-- cheaply. (I know, they should probably be rewritten, even just to use curses if not something substantial (like X), but...) I'd appreciate hearing about stuff to support this sort of thing (including PC graphics fonts) and pointers to where to grab the stuff from. Thanks! Pat -- Pat Mancuso - patman@lotus.com
