I recently posted an article about a color image display for any depth workstation. Some aspects I forgot to mention: Does color dithering on displays whose depth is less than that of the image. Accepts rasterfiles, PPM P3 and P6 files. Anyone who wants it can mail me for it and I will give them an 'ar' file.
