[comp.windows.x] XGrab Example Input

cristy@eplrx7.uucp (John Cristy) (10/31/90)

  I am looking for some example input files for XGRAB (cs.washington.edu).
  Also I need some example X resource settings for Interviews. The
  default settings for XGRAB are too plain. Please reply with Email to
  cristy@dupont.com.

  I installed XGRAB on a SparcStation. The g++ (1.37.0) compiler got
  an error on textviewer.c in ui/. And alloc.c in ui/OGC fails to compile.
  The documentation says it is not supported, but if someone at TERA has
  the time, perhaps they could investigate...

  Thanks muchly in advance.

I could not get to install it due to that error in textviewer.c
I am not a g++ expert..:-( The message was as follows..(I am using
version 1.37.1). I also got that problem with alloc.c in OGC. So
I just skipped OGC due to that error and compiled the files in
GC instead.

cd ui; make
g++  -I../include -I/home/french.2/dips2/NewDisk/InterViews/iv/src -I./CCinclude -c textviewer.c
textviewer.c: In method void TextViewer::String (const char *, int):
textviewer.c:678: aggregate value used where an integer was expected
textviewer.c:680: aggregate value used where an integer was expected
textviewer.c: In method void TextViewer::NewLine ():
textviewer.c:708: aggregate value used where an integer was expected
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `textviewer.o'

Any help will be appreciated..

thanks a lot
