If it is necessary to cross post this response, please list groups to be posted to: <user response> Don't make it easy. Better yet, eliminate automatic cross posting and make users specifically copy notes to other groups.

The default should by [y] for the first group in the list, as that is the
fan-in behaviour that would be desireable.
(Of course I'm running notes, so I wouldn't have to worry about it, but it
would be nice to not have to read a message 5 times (at least enough of it
to hit 'j'.)
