xug@ics.com (X User's Group) (11/16/90)
XUG, the X User's Group, is constantly looking for articles for XNextEvent. XNextEvent is an information-packed newsletter which is issued periodically. Past issues have included articles such as 'Opening a Connection to the Server' by Adrian Nye, interviews with Bob Schiefler, Ralph Swick, and others, reviews of X terminals, and more... We need volunteers to write articles, conduct interviews, and review software and hardware products. Do you have any tips or tricks for system administration of an X environment? Programming shortcuts? Imake advice? If you would like to contribute, send mail to xug@expo.lcs.mit.edu or call Alex Fisher at +1 617 547 0634, fax +1 617 547 0758. XUG membership (and the newsletter) is free. To join, send your name and vital statistics (include postal address) to xug@expo.lcs.mit.edu. XUG has many local chapters as well as some international ones. Join one or start one today! XNextEvent now accepts advertising to fund itself. If you are interested in placing an ad, contact Alex Fisher at +1 617 547 0634, fax +1 617 547 0758.
