I have been advised to ask this mailing list about my error. I mistakenly sent it to the xbug list, OOPS. anyway, we have just downloaded and compiled our copy of X11R4 and upon starting xdm or xinit or any other x program we get the message: ld.so: warning: /usr/lib/libX11.so.4.2 has older revision than expected 3 I know this is probably pretty simple but I would appreciate any help.
