[comp.windows.x] vi on xmh

sascmc@segovia.unx.sas.com (Chris Conn) (11/29/90)

Does anybody know how I can get xmh to use vi as an editor instead of
the emacs-like editor it now uses? Is there an option I can put in my
.Xdefaults file?

I read the mh documentation and it told me to put this in my .mh_profile
file:

   Editor: /usr/bin/vi

but it doesn't work. Xmh ignores it and gives me the same old editor.

Thanks! Please e-mail responses, I will post them later.
