Sorry to waste bandwidth. I received email today from somebody asking for advise and I accidently deleted the email:-( If you fit the following description or (know anyone who does) then (get the person to) email me with the full details again. Is this you?: email address looks American. You're prototyping a program which draws maps from a database of geographical objects (roads, rivers etc). You might have satellite images as the backdrop to your map. You want the ability to zoom in/out of the map. Objects may change their appearance (or disappear altogether) at different zooming scales. You're working with C++ and think that a purely OO framework might be better than a mixed OO & procedural approach. You're considering several toolkits such as Motif, InterViews XView. You thought that InterViews might be ideal until you read some detailed comments I made on it. You would be interested in the source code for my partially completed OO graphical X library. If this fits you or somebody you know then please email me again.
