1. Is anyone aware of any work going on with simultaneous computer
conferencing using multiple displays with X?
2. How do you handle the problem which occurs when using multiple
display servers on different hosts from the same client. If one of
them kills its X-server and the client who does not know about this
tries to send something to that display, the client croaks. So the
client needs to be able to detect that a display server died so it can
stop sending stuff. I tried DestroyNotify, but that didn't work and
besides it seems that it was designed for a well-behaved event
interaction.
