I must have missed something terribly obvious, or screwed up somewhere along the line: We have installed the pathces to our inews stuff to include the Xref patches and to turn them on. When working with rn, locally posted multilple-newsgroups articles automatically get shown to the rn user only in the first newsgroup in which they appear, and I am given to understood it should work in the same fashion (which is quite delightful) for articles which have been posted to multiple newsgroups from other sites, too. But it doesn't. Postings to multiple newsgroups from other sites are still shown to rn users here more than once, even though the inews xref patch has been successfull applied and delivered. What did I miss/do wrong? Any pointers? Incidentally, the Xref: field is being properly filled in. And we are up to patchlevel 25 on rn 4.3.
