I am having problems getting text output in windows with twm running. I have the window in focus and everything but no text can be typed in the window. All the window managing features work fine, but that isn't exactly enough :-). I posted this earlier but got no response, I am hoping that it is because it didn't get out, not because nobody has a clue. Oh I have revision 1.2 according to the bar at the top when you invoke twm. -- ------------------------------------------------------------ |J Les Perkins ---> les@uokmax | ...!sun!texsun!uokmax!les | |University of Oklahoma |---------------------------|__________ |Engineering Computer Network | Opinions contained herein are bogus.|

I recently built X11R3 on our universities Sun 3/280 and also installed twm. However, it keeps looking for the font "fg-22", which wasn't built with X11 and I don't see with twm. Can anyone tell me where to get this font or a workaround? Any help would be appreciated! -- ---------------------------------+-------------------------------------------- Tim Russell, Computer Operator | Internet: russell%zeus@fergvax.unl.edu Campus Computing | Bitnet: russell@unoma1 University of Nebraska at Omaha | UUCP: uunet!zeus.unl.edu!russell

[Sorry to waste the bandwidth...] I have a problem with TWM. When running twm, windows are reparented correctly. Window ops seem to be working (but focus), menus also selection in xterm also, but typing on the keyboard has no effect. I am unable to focus in any window. I think this has been discussed before, but I can't remember what was said... This is on a (Sony) NEWS 1850 (4.3 BSD), X11 (R3 as far as I can tell). Thanx for pointers (e-mail preferred). --Francois -- *- Francois Rouaix // We are all prisoners here, * *- rouaix@inria.inria.fr \X/ of our own device * *- SYSOP of Sgt. Flam's Lonely Amigas Club. I have been running twm on a VAXstation 3100, and I have been having no luck at all with the resize box or squeezed titlebars. The resize box gets messed up after a resize, and the only way to get it back is to resource the .twmrc. As far as squeeze titles, I have not got that to work at all. I have seen the same probem on twm (version ?), vtwm (version 3.0), and tvtwm (patchlevel 4). I have tried .twmrc files distributed with the sources, and they all have the same problem. Is there an incompatibility with the 3100? An I doing something totally wrong? Has anyone seen this behavior before?
