IMAKE BOF IMAKE BOF IMAKE BOF
On Wednesday (alas!) there will be a BOF on using imake.
(This is, of course, a plot by the Marriott and Boston
merchants to get you to spend another night... 8^)
We will cover as much ground as necessary, from "what IS
this stuff?" to writing them from scratch to installing on
your Sinclair ZX-80 to expanding it (a la Paul DuBois'
*other* imake paper).
If you have materials you think might be helpful, or have
specific issues you wish to see addressed, please email me
at any of the addresses listed below.
We will NOT be covering "why did they use this?", "why don't
they?", or any such thing, unless "they" also show up, and
indicate a willingness to answer such questions. If you have
specific suggestions for enhancements you wish to hammer out
live, that may be acceptable, depending on audience and time.
(But it would probably be better handled via email/news, or
if live, perhaps after hours one evening or over a meal.)
