We are looking for a utility which can be used to view (not just monitor) the actvity between a client and a server on a second server. That is, a way to present the activty between a client application and a user on a server on a second server. The name XTee comes to mind because this application would behave as a Tee connection in the connection between the client and the server. We have found a utility xwatchwin which almost does this, but it only snaps a picture of a window on a server. We have also found a utility xscope which does monitor the interaction between the client / server, but only prints an ascii log of those events. It is a pseudo-server that sends an output-only view of an X session to any number of X servers. We use it for teaching in our workstation-equipped classroom. XMX is available for anonymous ftp: host: wilma.cs.brown.edu (128.148.31.66) file: pub/xmx.tar.Z John Bazik jsb@cs.brown.edu
