I would like to be able to customize the behavior of twm menus (i.e., those defined in my .twmrc) so that: one button press will pop up the menu (& the corresponding button release is ignored) another button press will select the item under the pointer & deexpose the menu I find that the default depress-drag-release sequence is rather unwieldy for long menus; besides, my application uses the above behavior for all its popup menus. So, can this be done with twm, and how? Thanks, nakul saraiya

I have patches in hand that implement this for tvtwm. The next version
of tvtwm should have them integrated so you might be able to extract
what you need.
