I can't seem to get the shape option to work on xbiff. The way it looks I should be able to have a non-rectangular window that looks like... a mailbox for example, as long as I provide a mask for the bitmap. How come I can't get it to work? I'm running twm/tvtwm/vtwm/olwm/mwm X11R4 fix-18 on a SS1 with SunOS 4.1.1. -- Mark Horstman mh2620@sarek.sbc.com Southestern Bell Telephone St. Louis, MO

I can't read your resource settings from here. Why don't you tell us what they are when you ask your question! > I'm running twm/tvtwm/vtwm/olwm/mwm X11R4 fix-18 on a SS1 with > SunOS 4.1.1. This works for me: xbiff*shapeWindow: on xbiff*fullPixmap: mailfull xbiff*emptyPixmap: mailempty xbiff*fullPixmapMask: mailfullmsk xbiff*emptyPixmapMask: mailemptymsk

Sun does not implement the shape extension in the 2.0 release.
