rusty@qip.UUCP (Rusty Carruth) (01/11/91)
(I got zero response when I only posted to comp.windows.open-look,
so I'm widening my search slightly...)
I am looking for an Xnews system which will run on a 386 box
running MS-DOS. Any leads GREATLY appreciated! Also, comments
and suggestions (and, yes, I'd much rather run it under unix,
but "they" think it is not worth the cost, so I'm the guinea
pig to see if we can find a "reasonable" implementation of X
for the 386).
Also, if this is the worng (sic :-) newsgroup(s), my apologies
(pointers to "the correct newsgroup" gratefully accepted!).
extreme TIA!
Rusty
(If I get many requests to share the info, I'll post a summary
of the responses I get.)
