just got an XVision package and installed it on our PC. when tried to
start X sessions using xdm on our Sun host, could not get the xdm login box as
one would expect.
the connection is good since ftp works(we are using PC/TCP, Microsoft Windows 3.0). i can also use "Run..." command to start any X clients on XVision
server.
such a line has been added to the "Xservers" file for xdm:
pc1.rad.hfh.edu:0 foreign imaging
dose anyone out there have any experience with this? do i need to do
any thing else to make xdm know that there is such a server on the network? any
thing special i should do with NCI program?
