Motif has got the Young Book and O'Reilly volume 6.
XView is in O'Reilly volume 7.
Anyone know of a similar treatment for OLIT?
Have the AT&T/Sun folks approached O'Reilly to do a volume for OLIT?

One good source is John David Miller's _An OPEN LOOK at UNIX_, M&T Books, 1990. This has a good set of samples for individual widget usage, plus a chapter that details ICCCM conventions and the OPEN LOOK extensions of these to interface with file manager and workspace manager. It is not a comprehensive manual, but it does provide a good overview and a jump-start on OLIT programming. One version of the book comes with a 5.25" 1.2 Meg cpio disk targeted at 386 UNIX boxes, with all the program examples and the source of a nice little utility library Miller uses in the book. ISBN 1-55851-058-3 (with disk) ISBN 1-55851-057-5 (without) -- Michael L.
