Hello net-folk! I would greatly appreciate for any help in solving the following problem: How does one send any X application from a remote host via rlogin without invoking X on the console of that host. In other terms, I run X on my machine do rlogin to a remote host, get the prompt, execute <mystery>, get a window on my monitor, end connection, use the window from the remote host. Could you help me find the <mystery> syntax? xhost remote_host|rsh remote_host -n xterm -d local_display& The above works on local net, however when I try to do somethind like xhost remote_host|rsh remote_host -l account -n xterm -d local_display& I get problems with the display, even though I can execute rsh remote_host -l account for account has me in .rhost file. Any light shed on this subject will be greately appreciated! Thanks in advance!
