Has anyone encountered the following error while running aixterm from an IBM RS6000 to a Sun sparc running 4.1.1 and openwindows 2.0. <<< Fri Feb 1 14:24:36 1991 >>> Process: 0x2624e0 (X Listener %socketl6000) Error: stackunderflow Stack: Executing: 'pop' At: {packedarray{4} 'stopped' 'pop' *'pop' 'closefile' 'dup' (r) 'file'} In: {... 4 'index' append 'put' packedarray{8} *'loop'} This occurs on the sun machine. And this occurs on the Rios machine: % aixterm XIO: fatal IO error 32 (Broken pipe) on X server "" after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining. The connection was probably broken by a server shutdown or KillClient. % Interresting thing is that after this error, no more remote x applications can then display on the sun. Instead I get the following additional error: aixterm 1363-008 X server named boofoo:0.0 was not found. % It used to work when I was running 4.1 and the patched rios aixterm. Also, it does the same with the patched xnews and the standard 2.0 xnews. Any hints would be helpful. -- Jim Ray Harris Semiconductor Internet: jdr@semi.harris.com PO Box 883 MS 62B-022 Phone: (407) 729-5059 Melbourne, FL 32901
