Hello, I am using X11sun-2.0/xnews as my xserver, and running twm, compiled with MIT X11R4. In this set up, I am noticing very abnormal behavior of applications. Sometimes, after iconifying the window, the window disappears, from screen and also from the iconmanager window. However, if I check process status, corresponding child process (eg. csh in case of xterm) still exists. However older version of TWM ie. R3 seems to be alright. Has anyone noticed, or found solution to, this problem. Thanks, -- Milind Milind Bodas Intel Corporation

i have noticed this behavior also. whenever i run an XView
application under TWM (MIT X11R4 all the way), the applications just
kinda disappear when i iconify them. the only way i can track them
down is using the TwmWindows menu. is this a generic problem with
XView programs or do we have to do something different to get the
icons to appear under TWM?
