I have a window application that runs under both DOS and UNIX. On DOS, I have character-based screens. On UNIX, I am running X11R3 and the Motif window manager. The application has an XVT interface to the different window systems. I need to test the application on both systems. Are there tools that exist that will capture all client/server events and put them in a form that they can be played back and compared against a set of masters? Being new to testing window applications, I am not familiar with what is available for testing. What is available on DOS? What is available on UNIX? Are there tools that would work on both systems?
