This, has I know, been mentioned before, but I wasn't interested at the time, so I skipped any replies there might have been. We are thinking of using Hypermedia for some teaching - both as in writing some guides using it and getting students to do some work themselves - the guides would be concerned with high level language programming. We've yet to decide anything, but I of course have to look at the equipment implications. It is true to say that Macs are not as common in universities here as in the US, and unless we go on a big purchase, I have to look for alternatives to hypercard itself - they don't have to be code compatible, but some equivalence of facilities would be nice. I know there are programs for PC's, and I might follow that up, but does anyone know of one for X? It doesn't have to be PD, providing it is not too expensive. Given the kit concerned, I am primarily interested in HP-Apollo 10.3 or HP-UX, but I would also be interested in Sun-only programs if that is all there is. Probably best to e-mail me directly.
