[comp.windows.x] Imake documentation

bin@primate.wisc.edu (Brain in Neutral) (07/28/90)

Some effluvia from the imake documentation effort is now available.

host: indri.primate.wisc.edu (128.104.230.11)
directory: ~ftp/pub/imake-stuff
files: config-X11R4.ms (troff)
       config-X11R4.ps (PostScript)

No great shakes, but it's something to read. Please send in your
comments after you look at it.

A while ago there was a discussion on Imake, and how impossible it is
to understand. I of course didn't save it. I now need to get Imake up
and running and would like to have some idea of what I'm doing.

I need it under Ultrix and VMS using DECwindows/MOTIF. There is a
tmpl file for Ultrix so that should work but I'd like to have a basic
idea of why it does. As for VMS I'm not sure where to start.

Would someone mail me any introduction that they know of or refer me
to where I can find one? I'll summarize to the net when done.
